March Luncheon Meeting

Due to scheduling conflicts, the Transportation Club of Houston has made a change to the speaker lineup for our March 3 luncheon.

Robert Brown, VP of Bot Auto, will now be rescheduled to speak at a TCH luncheon this fall.

We are pleased to announce that David Giandinoto, CMC Railroad General Director, will be our featured speaker for the March 3 event.

David Giandinoto recently retired after a 30-year career with Union Pacific, where he played a key role in leading rail operations across the Texas Gulf Coast and the broader 30,000-mile rail network. Serving as Union Pacific’s Senior Vice President of Operations from 2020 to 2024, he also held leadership positions in dispatching, locomotive distribution, crew management, field operations, and distribution services.

Having spent the majority of his career in the Gulf Coast region, David has a deep understanding of the unique logistics challenges and operational needs of customers in the area. His expertise in optimizing rail networks, managing crews, and streamlining operations has made him a trusted leader in the industry, ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused rail service.

Now, as General Director of CMC Railroad, David continues to apply his extensive knowledge to drive operational excellence, enhance reliability, and support strong customer partnerships.
